PRIVACY POLICY IN ACCORDANCE WITH ARTICLE 13 OF LEGISLATIVE DECREE 196/2003

Pursuant to Legislative Decree 196 of June 30th 2003 (hereinafter referred to as "Privacy Code") and in relation to the personal data given by filling the form as well as to any further additional information provided, we inform you of the following:

  1. Purposes of data processing - The processing and, in particular, the collection, registration, storage, consultation, communication, transmission and/or disclosure of data, is directed to the completion, by "Egadi Islands" Marine Protected Area, of the institutional tasks entrusted to the Body by law as well as by the implementing regulations and rules of organization.
  2. Procedures for the processing - Data processing is:
    1. carried out through the procedures or sets of procedures recommended by art. 4 of the Privacy Code;
    2. implemented by either manual or electronic or in any case automated means;
    3. carried out directly by the owner, also by means of their own employees and/or by their collaborators assigned to the task.
  3. Nature of the disclosure - Data disclosure and the consent to their processing is strictly necessary in the fulfilment of the institutional duties of the Marine Protected Area.
  4. Consequences of any refusal to disclose information - Failure to provide data will prevent from fulfilling the request submitted in the form.
  5. Data disclosure - Data may be disclosed to another public or private entity or public institution of industrial and commercial nature, if in compliance with statutory or regulatory provisions. In the absence of a statutory or regulatory provision, disclosure to another public entity is permitted when this is necessary to the performance of the institutional duties, and it can be undertaken once the deadline referred to in art. 39 paragraph 2 of the code on privacy has expired.
  6. Rights of the concerned person - According to Article 7 of the Privacy Code:
    1. a. the person concerned has the right to obtain confirmation of the existence or not of any personal data concerning him/her, even if not registered yet, together with their disclosure in an intelligible form;
    2. b. the person concerned has the right to obtain indication of the source of the personal data, the purpose and means of processing, the methodology in the case of processing by electronic means, the personal details of the data controller or subjects or categories of subjects to whom data are disclosed;
    3. c. the person concerned has the right to obtain the updating, adjustment or integration of the data concerning him/her as well as the cancellation, transformation into anonymous form or blocking of any data processing carried out in breach of current law;
    4. d. the person concerned has the right to object, in whole or in part, to the processing of personal data concerning him/her, even though they are relevant to the purpose of the data collection.
